I made a trip yesterday up to London to visit the Imperial War Museum in order to do some research into the Cold War, the buildup to it, and the precautions the government made if we were all about to...Back' series - which if the comparison follows, means the next one should be a victorious 'Return of the Jedi', so that's something to look forward to. Why does Scott McCloud 's map of Western Europe depict a Germany that encompasses Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, the eastern half of Austria, Hungary, and Slovenia? Also, why does Google Chrome sound like Google is reinventing emacs as a Web browser, with Javascript instead of Lisp?

MISC. STUFF Lastly, I came across a lot of fun, oddball stuff when I was looking through my Kubert School keepsakes.  I hope I don't embarrass anyone with it (keep in mind that this stuff dates from over twenty years ago).                

THE SCHOOL BUILDING Since 1984 was the first year that The Joe Kubert School was in the old Dover High building, I really tried to capture the feel of those days in photos, just for history's sake.  "Tried" being the appropriate word.  I can't take a decent photograph to save my life.  Sigh.  Oh, well...here they are anyway...        

CLASS ASSIGNMENTS Somewhere around here there are stacks and stacks of old assignments, but I was only able to find a handful of what I drew during that 1984-1985 Kubert School year.  Some of these were discussed during Kubert School month bloggings..
