I'm already planning for con next year. I didn't have a camera this year so I have very few photos. I even missed a chance to get a picture with JMS. My friend and I were in line to get his autograph and when it was my turn to take a pic with him...the camera battery died.
So remember ages ago when I made my Comic-Con post and said I would hopefully post photos from Saturday (our Disney cosplay day)? Well the good news is that I was able to get a hold of some of Britt's...kinda tough right now. What's also fun is that this Wednesday Sam and I will be going as Alice and Hatter again to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party at CaliforniaAdventure. THAT should be interesting
I had quite a ridiculoudly awesome weekend. It was ten kinds of fun. For serious. Even if I wasn't Mas OR Menos. Oh well. In two weekends I will remedy that. But I DID play Clue. I love that game. I think...in the end, even though I desperately don't want it to be over. It's kind ofhitting me harder than Avatar, for some reason. I don't know. Ooh, new episode of Heroes on tonight! I keep forgetting
Gah, I'm just pathetic! The Summer just got out of hand and I couldn't catch up, photos and posting-wise! But here's photos and some brief comments about Comic Con under two different cuts! The... they'll probably buy something... Plus, everyone always says that making connections at his con is priceless... I'd say--go just to experience it! Although if you're allergic to crowds--stay away!
So I'm going through my archive of photos to make a photo album for my Mom's birthday (I've been a photographer for how long and have never done that yet... odd...) but I stumbled across this shot in a...folder with all the frames from Mel & I's trip to Comic-Con where we helped out in the promotion of the Kamikaze Girl's movie. Probably be finding other silly/fun frames to share as I go through.
I know it's early but seeing as hotel rooms in the gaslamp area of San Diego are gone already it's clearly on other people's minds too. I had an awesome time at Comic-Con this year and decided to go back...time you can spend at the bar on your own before people start asking if they can call someone for you. So only a fewarrangements to make really, and I do have eight months. Comic-Con here I come
First entry yay! so, I'm a LJ newbie here, but I'm trying to learn how all this stuff works. I lovemeeting new people so anyone should just friend me and we'll talk about common interests. I'm 20 years...Chuck panel was no exception, Zach Levi is hilarious and everyone cheered so much whenever Ada Baldwin's name was mentioned ('cuz of Firefly)..it was hilarious. bye now trying out the LJ-cu
So, through ONTD's latest post about Joseph Gordon-Levitt, I have found out that G.I. Joe comes out August 7, 2009. Which is TWO WEEKS after Comic-Con. Do I smell a panel already? One that could contain Channing Tatum AND Joseph Gordon-Levitt? OH BABY OH BABY.
“ The Happening ” may have been a critical flop, but nobody can say Mark Wahlberg holds any grudgesagainst his erstwhile director M. Night Shyamalan . “He’s a sweet guy,” Wahlberg told us. “For whatever...the most complex character he’s every played) or the proposed “Departed 2,” if one imagines a movie that looks and feels nothing like “ The Departed .” also see it here at markwahlbergfan.org
I only spent a day in San Diego this year. I think a bullet list will suffice. As always, more photos are up at my Flickr Page . Almost didn't make it. To say that parking spaces after 9AM... chumley . Went out to dinner with gear_halo after the exhibit hall closed. Oh yeah, and I met Hansi and André from Blind Guardian . \m/ >_ < \m
