...song from the new album today. 6 tracks off an 11 track CD I've already heard LOL. Can't wait for it to come in the mail =D Oh, which brings me to another thing....I'm strangely obsessed with commercials. I'm not sure if you guys can tell just from reading my journal but yeah....I don't even watch TV that much, other then movies I watch an hour or two of TV a WEEK. But my parents always have...
I've been poking around through some of the old campaign ads and, er, musicals: Kennedy Eisenhower There were also some interesting serious ones in the 60's: Nixon 1968 discussing the war on VietnamWallace 1968 declaring that we would stop sending our goods to countries that aided our enemies LBJ 1964 commercial using fear tactics
I'm getting so tired of that commercial where various women complain about how John McCain hasn't done anything for them. Where one says, "over and over he opposed our right to choose," and it ends with... your unborn children. Call it what it is. It doesn't sound quite so innocent when you say it that way, does it? You have a right to choose - just do it before you get pregnant. Ok, I'm done.
So i still think the Quizno's sponge monkeys was the best commercial ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZrks-BPeLQ Dare to disagree? Shame on you, afterall....THEY GOT A PEPPER BAR!!!!
Is just me that those Glade commercialsdrive crazy?! Why those women feel the need to lie? What are they trying to say., "Buy Glade candle and become a liar!" -One is having friends over and says that the candle is from France! WTtheRach? -The other one is taking a bath, her friend call her and she says she's in a spa! First of all, I hate when people ask me me on the phone, "watch you doing?".....
Great video, and a great way to think about how we've been partying since 1999. http://www.americablog.com/2008/10/wassup-2008.html Watch them both. Watch them with a Bud if you want. I was nostaligic, then depressed, then elated.
