ILoveSketch from Seok-Hyung Bae on Vimeo . I Love Sketch looks so sweet it must be from the future. At least I would hope so because anything less than telepathic control will ensure that learning the nuances of this application would be the cause of some massive migrains.
My computer crashed yesterday. I don't know what happened. It was fine when I went out to the laundromat; when I came back 45 minutes later, it woke from 'sleep,' made a distressed noise, and died. It...tomorrow, I'm going to make the bank order checks for me -- but it's extremely annoying. --------------- I have the persistent feeling that I've fallen out of the real world and into a Kafka novel
I finally got my computer fixed, about time I know, now I can get some real writing done. Saw Choke, Eagle Eye, and Traitor last week in theatres; enjoyed Choke, but it was horribly flawed, Eagle Eye...Chargers (who played the Patriots in the AFC Championship last year). With the 0-4 Texans up this week and if we can be them soundly, I don't think it's wrong to say that we have a shot at the playoffs
One of the classic practical problems with computers is how to encode data into them, and again represent it in a form the users can understand. This does have great results. Might make you smile if you skim it. After a while, a standard, called "ASCII", became adopted for text. ASCII is a way of numbering the letters so that they could be converted to numbers and back. Computers are much, much...
We've got lots of volunteers to read a couple lines each of "The Raven," certainly enough to cover at least a few stanzas, but we can always fit in a few more. Check this post to see what's entailed and...and tickling your nose or something. But why in the world does my son sneeze, just once, almost every morning, after his first bite of toast? It's a mystery to me. But at least it's sort of cute
You guys like stories, right? Here's a story. Once upon a time there was a country ruled by a herd of hairy pigs. The pigs were very cruel and controlled every aspect of their subjects' daily lives--they... the people in the sheaf mysteriously disappeared, never to be seen again. The moral of the story is PRO-DEMOCRACY ACTIVISTS USING SKYPE, GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE, YOUR SECURITY HAS BEEN COMPROMISED
New Laptop!!!! Also, replacement Kindle has finally been granted to me. God bless the very slow, highly methodical people at Amazon, with all their 10 billion questions about what I was doing with it... and they are FABULOUS. Seriously, even with my fear of the cold, I found myself regretting that I had bought a long skirt, because it will cover the boots. I'm considering splitting the sides.
I haven't posted much lately because (as is the case often of late) there hasn't really been anything going on. Work, days off and then wasting those days of lazing around. I took one of the sets of shelves...it. There's a lot of "ifs" in my life lately. It's like a MetLife ad from hell. If only, if this happens, etc. It's very frustrating. I applied for a couple more jobs. Still no word on either of them
asdflaksdjfhgsadklfhasfhda dsf kgf As much as I like manga and everything, I was still pretty sure that this was the one, proud remaining genre of Western literature that it could not bleed into.
