I got my last test from biology back and I'm still holding an A, so I don't see any reason whatsoever to take the final. I'd really have to dick up the other half for it to be necessary and Asch's tests...look for a program that combined the two later on, so I suppose that really could happen in some terrifying subworld. Too bad this crap doesn't count for my paper, I'm almost at 800 words on it
This was part of my conversation with the owner of Fashionably Dead, which is a new store that opened on Blowers St a month or so ago. I stopped in there because -- Wait, rewind to YESTERDAY. Yesterday... plus Dad's care package is in the Post Office and I can't carry it because I'm a weakling and can't carry a 20kg box. Hmmmmm... Oh, and p.s. you people who want to see my modeling pics. Clickums
Today, I got my brows done for the first time in a while... I've been having trouble filling in my brows because they'd look overdone and too thick, and I didn't want to go to Sykea again, because I don't...someday. I asked about the renovations, and it'll apparently be all done by February. The pharmacy will be upstairs, and there'll be a glass elevator. Geez! Talk about a classy classy drugstore..
Deadman Wonderland seems pretty cool so far. I thought the art looked like Eureka 7 and it turns out they're the same dudes. On the bright side, it's a lot more interesting than Eureka 7 was. I got...want like 300,000 for a 360, so you'd probably need to spend 20k to get 20 bucks back. Well, I'm going to pay it back before you can slap any interest on it, suck on that, capitalist oppressor pigs
Going to the bookstore makes me realize why it is the average meatbag doesn't read. Even with a 25% coupon, a new hardcover still costs almost 20 bucks. I still think The Rise of the Fourth Reich is...won't be out here until 2010, but that's still pretty awesome. The headphones are totally rad. They block out just about everything, so I'll totally be able to zone out in peace with them on
Oh! yesterday, we test drove the Toyota Hybrid SUV. Damn that thing is quiet! I'm continually cursing the car industry for not coming out with the fuel efficient vehicles faster. We won't be buying that... It is the only 7 passenger vehicle I've seen on the market that gets better than 20 mpg. My fantasy target mpg is 35, but that's not going to happen before my minivan croaks it's last drying breath
I had caitlin_chan over today, and I made her watchthe Princess Bride (she'd never watched it before... INCONCEIVABLE!!!), and after dinner down at Talay Thai, we stopped by the Daily Grind...also picked up Foreign Policy , because of the articles on China and the Beijing Olympics. And also, Realms of Fantasy . Because I like fairies. Eh-heheh. On the plus side, I HAS WORK PERMIT NAO
I'm pretty sure Isao Sasaki did every anime opening/closing song in the 70's. I used to keep Getta 1 in my group just so that damn song would play in Super Robot Wars. I don't think I could actually...Effect. I kinda want to get ahold of a copy of God Hand. That and Bleach 22 should be enough to kick me into free shippingterritory. Or maybe I'll just order it now since I bothered to check Amazon
Finished Yakuza friday. The last couple of chapters were one hell of a ride. Almost enough to watch the story over entirely in the review mode. Shame I heard the Ryu ga Gotoku movie was crap. I really...in pure torment. Monk would be easy enough due to lack of gear but being forced to feign pull anything would slower than I could bear. Oh wait, that'd be pre-feign nerf though, hm. No, can't happen
So I woke up at around 10 - no, scratch that, I woke up at 7 and LAY IN BED UNTIL 10 and decided, hey, it's Saturday, it's Farmer's Market time. Let's calculate how much I should spend for the month and... Aaaaaanyway. My fridge is now stocked up, I have replenished supply of stuff I should have, and I also have more food... there're still a few more things I should get, but that can wait until next week
