If nothing else, this convention is emotionally draining. I have watched most of the big speeches-- and just watched Joe Biden's shellacking of John McCain. I don't think I've ever seen this level of catharsis and overemotionalism at one of these conventions. It's like a big sloppy family reunion involving a series of drunken reconciliations.
