In September, we had our " Active Shooter " training. If you don't know what an Active Shooter is, think of Columbine or Virginia Tech, where someone is going about picking off civilians...find them. Some Active Shooters have attempted to mimic the police in order to lure their victims out from hiding. When officers find you, expect to be treated as a suspect until proven otherwise.

An officer from a nearby PD, Martinez, was shot and killed today answering a domestic violence call at a nail salon. According to reports, the guy killer was having a disagreement with his girlfriend and...salon was full of customers when all this unfurled. They aren't releasing the name of the officer yet because they haven't contacted his family members. I hate going to domestic violence calls
