So things have obviously not been stellar around here. It's hot, for one. I know I complain about it every summer, but it's been really bad this year. It feels like it's happened earlier than usual, and... and not only did she watch it, she cried . (So did I.) VVG is the house-wide favourite artist around here. For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

Or, you know. Not. Today we learned that when I'm all snarfly and pissed off, I can apparantly canter the hell out of a horse. Heh. Lab results came back, but none of the other samples tested positive... By the time Lynn's mother found out (as she would almost certainly have flapped her arms about and interceded), of course, the garbage man had already come and it was too late. Weep. Weep. Weep

It's been a weird few days. x_x Wednesday afternoon, my mum was laying down when I went out to the RV to see if there was going to be cooking or if I needed to scrounge up something myself. I could tell...because I'm not sitting on it right, or because of what I'm wearing, or what. I wish I could figure out how to ride in a skirt. I think I just need to go wholly Victorian and take up a nice set of bloomers

I had a talk with my costume designer, and we both agreed that it would be better to finish the ren faire skirt so I would at least have 3 costumes for Dragon*Con.  I want the Diana Prince/Wonder Woman...I have found so far. So I was able to cross a few things off my list today, and make progress on others.  Still didn't finish all I wanted to - but progress was indeed made.  And big progress at that
