Blue in Cream City by Carole Barrowman is a modern take on the classic murder mystery. Although, there will be no chance to shout out “The Butler did it,” because there are no butlers. Middle class Milwaukee...and the wrap-up allows the reader to breathe again. All-in-all, Blue in Cream City is a recommended read for anyone who would find themselves reading Ellery Queen Magazine or renting Brick
