I started a new project today. I'm calling them "Tit Mits". It's a crocheted bra insert that will keep one's bosom warmer in the winter. I'm having some fun making these, and I know the person I send them (and the pattern) to will love them :)

I am having THE hardest time teaching myself to crochet. I need some kind soul to come over and sit with me some weekend (so I don't have to watch A at the same time) and teach me what I'm doing wrong. It's supposed to be easier than knitting and I'm just not getting it. I can do a basic chain stitch super easily. I can work into the base chain easily enough. I do the turning chain before starting...

eh.. sorry, I just really don't like candy corn... nothing against the little guy, he's actually pretty cute, but the candy itself - *barf* The pattern was actually pretty simple and easy to follow...melting the glue. So, yeah, the cafe has a halloween buddy to keep our counter friendly... and I've already decided to make more... maybe an army of them... to take over the world... muhahahahaha
