Self-deprecation is a trap. At first it seems safe, perhaps even cute or attractive, but it’s a trap and it’ll draw you into a spiral of self-destructiveness. Not as bad as meth, but still pretty messed up. Next time you feel the urge to be self-deprecating, try complimenting someone else instead. Doesn’t have to be a big deal or effusive, just some sort of compliment. Don’t tie it back to yourself...

I went out for lunch yesterday with my Auntie so I made sure to take some photos of our new kitty Reggie to show you all, hes such a poser, I'm gonna need to take my actual camera soon to take some, rather than just these phone camera ones.

...   So, they had a video about this on Yahoo news and the cat seems really friendly, I mean, he'll sit on this little cushion and let just anyone pick him up, and pet and whatnot.  It's really cute, but I can't help but wonder, are people in Japan that bored that they travel a long distance to see a cat?  I mean, dunno what the pet population is over there, but I'm guessing there's plenty of...
