Changed Cyclone's front brake pads last night. Two calipers, four pads, one hour. :)

In lieu of my normal habit of playing GTA or working on Inksome in the evenings, on Thursday night I did Cyclone's rear brakes instead, since we were staying at featherynscale 's and triadruid 's house, and they have a garage. :) I only did the rear brakes because that was all I had time for. It was a dusty and dirty job (I'll put up pictures of how dirty I got) but not too difficult...

...while our landlord rips out and replaces our bathroom floor. We've been having issues with this floor since we moved in; let's hope this finally resolves those issues. Friday I got the saddlebags I had been lusting after ! I have so much more storage now on Cyclone. It's awesome. :) I have pics - I'll post them soon. I finally decided on a bike. Her name is Cyclone, and she is a 1997 Suzuki Bandit 1200 S. I changed her oil for the first time tonight, and it was positively black . I shudder to think how long that oil had been in there. But there's fresh Rotella Synthetic in the engine (topped off with a little conventional Rotella 15W-40), and the old oil will soon be on its way to Blackstone for analysis. Next...
