From Roger Takahashi's official site : The Sons' new 4-song mini-album "Triple Booster" went on sale a few days ago. You can buy it at The Sons Web Shop . The Sons are ichiro (guitar and vocal), Hideki Samejima (bass), and Roger Takahashi (drums; from D.T.R, X-Ray, etc.).

According to the always-entertaining JaME, Kenji Shimizu played keyboard for the pop guy Kinya in 1998. Does anyone have any idea whether this is true? Here's the entirety of their Kenji entry: Shimizu...in fairness all he talks about in his blog profile is D.T.R. I've searched around and so far turned up no Kenji-Kinya connection. So, yeah, just curious: anyone know whether this is true or not

OK, this is some very random whatthefuckery, but it's been bugging me. And now that I know we have at least one Color fan here I figured I'd ask. Is there any connection between Kenji Shimizu from D.T...in before D.T.R or what he looked like before 1994. Like I said, probably just two random guys who happen to look similar, but yeah, just wondering if there's some connection I don't know about. :

Translated from an August 11th entry in the Eikou Jyuku blog : During new sound source production! ( fucking huge photo of "Principal Mitsuo" ) Nagano! Today Principal Mitsuo recorded with a new... in the post after that it says they'll start rehearsing next week for the August 24th concert. Thanks coolbastard for stuff. Anyone have any clue what Eikou Jyuku sounds like by the way

I've attempted to piece together D.T.R's ridiculously turbulent member lineup history and "activity timeline" in general. This is compiled from the physical CDs and video, Kenji's website , and Mitsuo's...(this presumably happened at the reunion in 2005/06). Mitsuo's name (rather than Taiji S.) now appears at the top of all member lists, including on the official website and the WISDOM/LUCIFER CD

He's best known as the drummer of X-Ray and D.T.R, but (like most of these guys) he's also in fifty million other bands. From Roger's official site .
