...with some of my photography--i think thats probably what i'm best at. but i really need more traditional pieces. its all so intimidating. gosh. i'm also thinking about .. well. i can't remember if dad is still in dayton, or if he's back in detroit. i think dayton? if so, then, never mind. but if he's back in detroit, i'd really like to go stay with him for a few weeks. i get so tired of this place...
I slept in until two today. Then my dad and I went down to DC. First we went to the art museum, and then the museum of Crime and Punishment. I learned a lot there, even though I only read a small amount. We were there until the sun set and we came home and I ate a veggieburger and went on the computer. No extreme thoughts today.
My parents left the house around the time I started getting ready yesterday. I thought perhaps they were going to the same place, but no. Dad needed new tires for his car, but mom left him to his own devices and ran other errands. Strangely enough, they returned at about the same time, too, dad with two new tires he needed desperately, and mom with pie and pumpkin bread. The bread, actually chocolate...

My dad got to come home for the weekend. Needless to say, we're all really happy he's home, and my mom and her boyfriend invited my dad and my aunt Sandy over for Thanksgiving. It was really fun. As much as I am perfectly okay with my mom and dad being divorced, it was still really nice to see them together and for my mom to be so involved in my dad's recovery process. It's really obvious that they...
Today I went hunting with my dad in the mist that has been the norm all day today. We harvested 8 out of our possible 10, so we did pretty well. It's been a while since I've done something like that with my dad. This is not my biological father however. I never knew my real father since he left about right after I was born. Someday maybe I'd like to go see him. Then again, maybe not. It makes me wonder...
...thanks to the DFA Passport Direct . Sure, it cost a bit, but nothing can trump the ease we had when we got dropped off at the gate. We literally walked in and out of there with no hassle. Even my dad was shocked that it took us so fast, because he had settled in at Jollibee already with a cup of coffee and his book, thinking he'd be waiting long. Wrong! We ended up eating breakfast (for the 2nd...

...want to live in flats? No! Every flevo labourer wants a door (cam zooms in on door), and a bell (zoom on bell) and a letterbox (zoom on letterbox)." Our reason for coming to Flevoland was my dad's old Society of Dutch Church History having a day of Church History Flevo Fun by the way. - Went shopping with my mum in the biggest outlet centre in Dutchieland, and bought a lovely Olily bag for...
...hat. I then went to woolies to get Siobhan's christmas present and found something else she would like and Thomas is going to give her that. Basically, I'm on a roll with the Christmas thing, lol. I've a fair few things bought and am working my way through knitting the knitted portion too. Dad's birthday jumper is coming along nicely too so all on all I'm right on schedule.... I think, lol
