Clara cet été là (Clara's Summer) This movie touches me and I couldn't figure out why until I watched it a second time. It really clearly and symbolically represents Clara's growth well. Plus, the actress...like summer so often down here during the winter...my throat is dying, (pay no attention to how these two thoughts may or may not correlate) I should be studying congressional history right nao

The news that the Grad Expo just (finally!) got approved for its funding request has come on the heels of the realization that we have over ONE HUNDRED submissions this year. My little bees are buzzing...a second paper topic for my adviser... ...I'm beginning think it might be best for me to take the tests with the rest of the peons and save myself the stress of an extra major research assignment. Hrm

1) I nearly blacked out today after running for the bus, and consequently discovered that running for the bus in the freezing rain, when you've been sick and had to skip breakfast that morning, is a bad thing. 2) Someone on the Intro to Asian Art test identified Ise Shrine as "Isake" Shrine, and for some reason I find that unbelievably funny.
