I guess the other bands heard that us Australian folk were being all"~~~!!!FOB!!!~~~" yesterday, and decided that obviously it was time for them to step their game up to keep us paying attention. So today...hope they never stop, ever. Good job on having a two-year break there, MCR. In other news, my halloween costume is pretty amazing, I'm not going to lie. Hopefully someone will take photos tonight
Pete thinks Let the Right One In "smokes twilight, true blood and 16 candles". My opinion on his statement can be found in the comments on the link. The obvious response to this is should be a story in which a lonely blond kid meets a pretty dark-haired kid who turns out to be a bit of a weirdo.
Fall Out Boy play Brisbane Entertainment Centre February 21. No other dates seem to have leaked out yet. I am all a-glee. I get to see tour friends! Gallop wildly through cities! Dance and sing to one of my favouritest bands! I guess I should attempt that 'saving up' thing; stay tuned for ensuing hilarity.
Whoa, a lot more people want to hear me blither about Robins than I expected! I'll try to get a start on it tomorrow-ish. Something you might enjoy reading in the meantime is Mostly Dead by un_related...cooked in the wrong kind of oil, but I'm still here right now and I still have the chance to tell the stories I thought were going to die with me, and that's a high that's hard to harsh with weariness
Strong Arm Studios, also known as Matt "Otter" Pelissier and George "Geo" Collazo, are enjoying the mixed blessing that comes with expansion. Their growth has been swift and significant, and so it's time to switch to bigger digs.
Ryan Ross and Spencer Smith, who are now 50% of the band Panic at the Disco, have said in interviews that they were huge Backstreet Boys fans when they were wee thinglets. (Ryan has also said that his...wonderful and I adore them for many reasons. No other band makes me feel quite so absolutely sixteen as they do, which isn't something I particularly adore as a general rule, but is not so bad sometimes
Dear Mary's younger self: when you're approaching your latetwenties, your favouriteband is going to look like this: Depending on how much younger a self you are, this will either delight or horrify you. Still, there you go.
Off to get my yay! I'm alive! tattoo today, hurrahs! I'm trying the new artist who's replaced the one I used to go to -- I've seen a portfolio of her work online and it looks like we'll be a good fit... Orright, off to catch the train I go. It's all sunny and warm and nice today, because Melbourne's weather is controlled by crazy sky-gnomes who can never decide what season it is from one day to another
