So I am thinking about opening a day care. There is a franchise one here in NJ that is more like a private school then a standard day care. It would be a way for me to make money and I would always be... I would never have to work a weekend or a holiday either. It is called the Goddard School and it is mostly on the East Coast. It is such a HUGE investment and I am not sure what to do? Any advice???

Cameron started his new day care on Monday, and sure enough, last night he came down with the sniffles. Today, when we picked him up, he had a fever and "Tio" (Albert) said he didn't eat much for lunch...went to tearing about the house more or less as usual. Gotta love tylenol! Managed to get him down for an early bedtime c. 8:00pm, and I haven't heard a peep since, so hopefully he'll sleep it off

My boss just found out that the day care she used last year and was planning to use again this year is no longer available and time is running short for her to find a new day care. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good day care that might have a spot for her daughter?

Charlie started day care today.  I was pretty emotional all day, more with worry than with guilt, though.  I don't feel guilty about working but I do feel sad that life requires this choices--I was definitely...day that includes his moods and they'd circled "happy" and triple-circled "adorable" so YAY.   I even got to have some non-cry time with him myself, for the first time in a few days, so DOUBLE YAY

Herro, sorry I haven't posted here in a while, but I'll be honest: I kinda forgot about livejournal. None the less, I got what I believe to be a glitch with the Day-Care center. I put x in with my ditto...I collect my egg, walk in to change pokemon, and then told that her husband is still waiting outside to give me something. NONE THE LESS: Is this a glitch? Has anyone else run into anything like this

Josie's first day at the new daycare went fairly well. She didn't cry when I left, but I called them at lunch to check on her and they said she was pretty upset when she realized I wasn't there. She settled...her face that really made me feel bad! I hope she enjoys her time there more tomorrow. She's so sociable. I'm sure she'll hit the swing of things in no time. I missed her a lot. That never changes

Josie will start a new daycare tomorrow. This new one is less expensive, more experienced, and opens earlier in the morning. When school starts in a couple of weeks, she'll have a teacher named Shayla...how everytime the game re-loads, it says, "new zombie," in this deep, gravely voice. So, Josie starts running around going, "Zom-ee! Zom-eeee!" It seems to make her extremely happy to say "zom-ee.

Jennie and I decided to offer Spence a special treat for lunchtime today -- we'd come and get him, and then the three of us could have lunch together.  He really liked this idea, and was very excited when...for having gone. It made me feel really good to be able to share the experience, and it's something that I'm sure we'll make time to do again every couple of weeks.   It sure brightened my afternoon
