So the House and Senate of the Georgia General Assembly are taking furloughs due to the budget deficit, and hence, the employees of the Office of Legislative Counsel are being required to also take...low on my priority list for job satisfaction. And I still have incredible job satisfaction, enough to outweigh the annoying sensation of being reamed. But I really would prefer to forgo the reaming
-Day job 5 hrs -cut 20 pages of bristol down -errands for Mamo -finished reading the Chamber of Secrets -Started Reading the Prisoner of Azkaban I have so much bristol stockpiled...and I found a brand...board for my Break submission. Seeing big sheets of bristol cut and ready is getting me more and more hype about doing PAGES again. I need to solve my power supply issue w/ my big scanner. .
-Day job 5 hrs -found a TON OF BRISTOL (+500 pts me in the past that stockpiled) -used the internet at a bar instead of the library -fleshed out my grad school chart -learned that application fees make... OTUS : Mail! It's smelly! PINTO: It's from "Frederick"?... panel four -Pinto lifts a fish out of the box . I'm gonna do more tonight when i get home but I don't know what yet so expect an edit
-Day Job 5 hrs? -Day Job 8 hrs -Get Bent Promo breakdowns done -sent Steve my inks on his drawing (that I did like 2 weeks ago...) -Finished a few electronic songs - Break discussion w/ steve -fam stuff -stuff. and things. I'm in the craziest mindset these days... long day coming at work tomorrow! WOOOOOOO!
-8 hrs day job -ATL -Awesome stuff -Not so awesome stuff (puking all over my Girlfriend's floor, getting lost coming home and turning a 5 hr drive into a 8 hr drive...) -stared at all of the BREAK submissions...(the transcript of the Chat I missed, the new scripts/thumbs people have submitted, reading the new pitches, ) I have Thurs & Fri. off this week so hopefully those two days will be put to good use.
-4 hrs day job -4 hrs day job -helping take care of Mamo -finished thumbnailing the Sprightly Diver (FINALLY) -drawing random stuff -Get Bent gag brainstorming yup. My grandma had to go to the ER again...in separate rooms. *sigh. Always something going on. **** I'm so excited to be doing comic type stuff again. It's such a frustrating and tedious process but it's totally worth it. 1 day till AT
-8 hrs day job -Lunchtime drawing people in the parking lot -shoes stuck to pavement from heat -(step?) fathers day -sleeping -Moving stuff out of Grandma's house -Spraying weed killer -couple new Break...boiling but I didn't mean the MISSISSIPPI SLAVE TIME HEAT! RUGHAGHHGH...makes me get the urge to go pick cotton)Same stupid stuff all the time. Bah. Not very productive at all. *** ATL 3 day
-4 hrs Day Job - Liza's b-day - Recorded a BMJ song - Break submissions...O_o - refining Get Bent designs - locating/organizing the Get Bent gags I have ready - getting reacquainted w/ Illustrator...best thing right now. I'm going to be going triple time w/ the comics these next three months (which is fine...after a year hiatus?) Break short...Get Bent Web Comic and the Sprightly Diver..yup. .
-Day job 4 hrs -Day job 8 hrs -quick caricatures of people in the parking lot on my lunch break -collected reference photos for "Sprightly Diver" -Inked a sketch by steve -Inked some char. designs -took...past two days...not sure why but oh well. *grr *** inking. yes. *** If someone doesn't answer their phone, calling 4-5-10 times back to back will most likely NOT make them answer.
