Whee, Halloween is tomorrow! I don't think anybody is going to be coming around or anything, and Trin'll be at work... and we didn't get any decorations, either... But at least we have a big bag...simplistic and, well, the pieces were classic (modern then, of course, but you get the idea). I only wish we had an idea of what colors were used then. Well. Back to sorting cards for Sunday
Dad's finally decided to actually decorate my room, so I've been attempting to clear out one of the cupboards in the hope that there won't be too much stuff to transport to the rest of the house. I've...because I don't have anyone to go with! :( Hopefully I'll find a few people from the forum to meet up with. I've decided I'm going to tag my entries from now on. It seems like a fun thing to do.
I made these cupcakes for ameena_acidz "bachelor/bachelorette" partylast weekend. I wanted to make something with leaves and autumn colors to match her wedding theme. I've also been dying to...frosting 2 sticks of butter, softened 6-8 cups of powdered sugar, sifted 1/2 cup milk 2 tsp. flavoring Mix together until smooth and nom away. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Congratulations Ameena & Dan!
...me finding and looking at dishes and other cool shopping websites. It makes this whole thing a lot easier. So, because I have Kaboodle now, I might stop burdening you guys with my household shopping decisions/stuff-gasms. The only one who seems to be enjoying it at all is Cynthia. (Although, the fact that she does delights me.) Oh, god, shopping and decorating is fun. Lastly, LOOK AT THIS:
I put three Martha Stewart books aside for myself today, to be priced. For some reason, thinking about having these books makes me feel great . I'm gonna decorate the HELL out of this apartment. And not...on them, in earthtones, but Jamie thinks that's entirely too seasonal for dishes. *shrugs* A girl can't win, can she? I'm gonna go take a breakI guess, and hang out with actual, physical people
It's almost Halloween!!! We were going out with Kerry & Reg etc. but we really wanted to go Fright Night on the Saturday so we're not now. We can't afford to do both. Well, we probly could but...any new shoes =p haha. No, we actually can't. Everything's tight at the moment coz I'm not in work. But I should be starting St.James' soon. So, Halloween , I'm watching scary films with my boy!
We have a set of these tile coasters with my fiance's last nameinitial, and we bought the sour dough bread one from a factory in San Francisco when we were there to visit in 2007 as a sort of souvenier. But I really like these coasters, and how they look in the living room. :)
Think I might start this later today-- The caption says it's supposed to be a nursing bodice for a dress, but it looks like a spencer to me. Black velveteen, with a 2-tone black/orange faux-silk...that fixes it. I just want him to feel better, he's clearly not comfortable. So hard when he can't tell you, and you can't really ask. Like an extended round of Win, Lose or Whimper for Five Hours
