So the dentist appointment went pretty well. Like I said, I only had to get a bit of cleaning. Last time I had that, it kind of hurted, since my teeth were sensitive and all, but yesterday, I had minimal pain. Yay! And I like the new dentist there. She's really nice, and even told me what's going and stuff. I remember the last time I was there, the other dentists were saying these numbers and stuff...
somehow they failed to mention the 6 shots they were going to give me in my mouth on one side. i can't feel anything and i keep fearing that i'm going to bite my tongue off and that half of my face looks...on anything i try to eat - just the mouth rinse was hard enough at the dental office. ugh. and guess what? i get to go back and repeat this procedure next week on the other side of my mouth! bah
...the entire left side of my face. rofl. I'm starting to wonder if its worth having them. They're getting cavities in order of how they sprouted up in my mouth... so far the right ones are okay but the dentist said to "watch" one of them because it looked like a potential cavity. LOVELY. So that's about 350-400 dollars I've spent having cavities filled in them. (Today's bill was a lovely 255 dollars...
soooo i broke a tooth. i have a dentist's appt at 2 tomorrow, with a brand new dentist, since mine went all vision-impaired and left the practice. i was slightly disturbed that when I asked whether the doctor was accepting any new patients, the receptionist first asked me what kind of insurance I had before telling me "yes." i'm starting to collect all of my doctors in one place - my gp is in the...
...there, but then I got told that I needed a filling! ARGH! I've never had a filling before having taken reasonable care of my mouth so I was a bit nervous at the thought. I'm just back from the dentist now, and I was only there for a total of half an hour - injected with the most massive needle I'd ever seen which bizarrely enough didn't hurt, poked and prodded with shiny metal instruments and...
...you're cute because you're generous. You are easy to love - it's part of your charm. The Cute Monster Test ...and with that i have to mentally prepare myself for a deep cleaning at the dentist today. (part two of three scheduled cleanings) i hadn't been to the dentist in 8 years before the first visit, and now i have to have two more where they're basically going to go in their and scrape...
This is probably the weirdest courtship ritual I've ever seen in a bird... yes, it really moves that way. On another note I went to the dentist. And lo, he just checked my gums for like two minutes, and then it was over! Didn't even hurt! And he said everything looked okay! And they only charged med 120SEK! Something is clearly wrong with the world.
So the past week or so has been sort of a wash with positives and negatives. The main upside is that I had the chipped tooth taken care of and all it took was some dental cement. I'll probably never forget...like the asshole anyway and now Ive got a spiffy anecdote to tell. Actually, I think I'll save it for the next entry in which I'll just recap ubercon really quick. No real reason to drag it out here
Eep. Got a dentist appointment in an hour or so. Meh, I don't feel like going, even though it's only a cleaning, I think. But still, I hate the dentist, but then again, who doesn't? Then tomorrow I got an appointment to see a psychiatrist. Fun. Guess what! Rocco has a new friend. Lol. My mom called for him yesterday, and he popped his head out of his little doghouse. Then another pup popped his...
My trip to the dentist went well. I'm far closer to my goal for round 1 (of three) of this whole dental adventure. I was thrilled to hear that. And the hygenist was happy with my teeth, for what it's worth. The IRS received my tax check and I'm almost done paying them off. My Dad and Lizs' anniversary was yesterday. They went and had a nice dinner and tried to eat the cake top that had been sitting...
