So...I did it. I spent the evening baking up a storm. WOOT! And everything looks really good. The evening started early with my famous Donkey Brownies™ . Trust me...they're good. i made the most amazing food tonight. given the ingredients, it's no wonder it turned out awesome. but i really didn't expect it to be as good as it was. that'll teach me to underestimate the power of...two smaller rolls candy corn hershey kisses...which don't take like candy corn i didn't take my medicine today so i was most unproductive at work. hopefully tomorrow will be better

As for dessert, I went a little overboard. I still have a whole apple pie, a pumpkin pie and half of the espresso brownies and pumpkin cake. The big hit was the black bottom peanut butter mousse pie. The recipe for today is Tres Leche Cake . First Impression: I had never heard of this kind of cake before until I saw it on Good Eats. The recipe seemed like it would result in a soggy, gross...something, like maybe an addition of caramel would taste pretty good. I'll probably try melting a bit of caramel into the milk mixture or adding caramel flavoring to it the next time I make this.

Take some regular old Oreo cookies (24 of them) and spread some peanut butter on each one.... Then some Marshmallow Creme over the Peanut Butter Melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips in saucepan...for about 30 minutes. Have Pepto Bismol handy. Eat too many cookies; throw out handy cup that comes with Pepto bottle, and chase the cookies down by chugging out of said bottle.
