I was telling everyone Daisuke Matsuzaka would pitch another great opening. It turns out he allowed five runs, but he DID make some great plays on the field, including catching a line drive that came right... Even if they end up losing the series, I'll be happy that they rallied. This win was enough to appease me. That being said, of course I'd love to see the Sox win the World Series again this year! ^_

I just got back from my first day of school. It was only a half day, so I basically just went to each of my classes and met the teacher and got the course outline, then left. It wasn't really exciting... so hopefully he will have an outing like his last one. Youk is out with a sore back again, so Pedie is in the cleanup spot again. I expect nothing less than two homeruns and a double from him . ;

That was a pretty awesome game. Dice-k was awesome! he had pinpoint control the entire game, and threw 8 shutout innings, only giving up 2 hits and walking none. Pedie completely tore up the basepaths...with Pedie. Pedie is like his son? That is so adorable! Tomorrow will be Michael Bowden's Major league debut, which will be pretty awesome. I can't wait to see him pitch, and I hope he does well.

 I've had the flu for the past few days and the medicine I have to take makes me really sleepy, so I fell asleep sometime during the 6th inning, and woke up to Pedroia being ejected. I lgotta say, I love...in the AL. But they can have the stupid division, because playoff baseball is a lot tougher than regular season ball, and they have never been to the post season, so that doesn't bode well for them

 Dice-k had his second straight shutout, this one 7 innings. he struck out 4, and walked about 10 million, but got the shutout. The Sox got off to another great start offensively, scoring 8 runs in the...some sleep, but I can never sleep when I have a headache, so it should be a long night for me. I always get sick in the summer, and never in the winter, so this is nothing new for this time of year

Today has not been a good day so far. I woke up at 4:30am, and couldn't get back to sleep, then when I finally gave up trying to get back to sleep, I got up and almost immediately fell down my stairs...floor in my living room, as far away from everything except my computer as I can be. About 50 minutes until game time, and a sweep would greatly improve my sucky day, so make it happen Dice-k!

Seriously. He was rolling along until he hit the 6th inning, then it all went to pieces. And it happened so fast. I barely had time to process the first home run when Torii Hunter hit the second Angels homer...ground in the division. And I got the most awesome Red Sox and pats binders today! They were only 2 dollars each, and both are made of win! I'll be at the game tomorrow, and I expect to see a win.

i'm glad the sox finally decided to give wake some run support, but holy cow! another mercy rule game. i don't remember if everyone got a hit - i don't think so but i don't recall who missed out. even... if the apartment is going to be open, why not, right? i'll bring it up with jes before i mention it to the landlord of course. but it would be nice to have a place to live during orientation etc
