I bought Mum her Christmas present this morning - tickets to see Barry Manilow at the MEN in December. She's been a fan of his for years and has never seen him live so I think she'll really enjoy it. It...it made me so angry. I don't know how people can be so cruel, things like that always make me want to cry. I hope poor little Marmite makes a full recovery and they catch the evil people who did this

What on earth is going on with the weather? It's shockingly bad. As I write this it is hammering down outside and it has been for the past couple of hours. I had to give up watching the Olympics as the...of the book will involve Mr Dombey making Florence's life hell before a Dickensian "road to Damascus" moment makes him see the light and embrace his daughter. I'm looking forward to finding out..

I'm really enjoying watching the Olympics on the BBC. It's been really exciting so far with GB winning loads of medals, especially in the cycling. They've done far better than I thought they would so far...I hope it is otherwise I'll just have to wait for the dvd which will probably be out pre-Christmas. Some kind souls have uploaded some of the videos to youtube though so I don't feel totally deprived

well, guess what happened to me. i missed the 1st day of school cause i was sick..and i still am sick and not at school. let's see..tues was the fever stage, wed the runny nose that just won't stop running...ribbons from presents. i would keep the wrapping paper if it wasn't for it being totally shredded up. (now you know what a nut i am about old stuff). anyway, super delayed Happy New Year to all! :
