I watched Obama's speech with great anticipation and trepidation. The trepidation dissipated fairly quickly. He looked and sounded like someone who was in the right place. He looked and sounded presidential...the speeches from 'real' americans which preceded Obama's film was a touch of genius,but Chris Matthews wouldn't shut up, so I switched to PBS. Go Barney Smith. That was too funny and too perfect. 

It opened on the Peninsula this past weekend. Dad got his moose on Monday. I think that's the quickest he's ever gotten one. Mr. Cary beat him by one day (Cary got his on Sunday).
