Last night, I wasn't feeling so hot. Luckily, I got a hot tip about a $5 pumpkin patch, where every squash was $5 and $5 only. Jeff and I got some pumpkins and pointed our handy dandy web browsers to ...I'll do just that. For now, here's my oh-so-tasty Barak O'Lantern. And it's guts made very nice roasted pumpkin seeds, I might add. And, just for synergy, the candle next to it is pumpkin spice.

Today's spooky is one some of you have already heard (if you were some of the last still kicking during the wee hours at the Indie Drinking Game # 1). It is, hands down, the scariest thing that I have...laugh about it then. I don't laugh about the dead bodies that still sometimes show up out at the beginning of that dirt road either. Today's spooky story makes my hair stand on end more than usual. There is a lot of folklore and legend surround Black Aggie. The stories are disturbing and pictures of her give me chills. She was finally... and resided in the basement. Occasionally, people still congregate at the cemetery in pursuit of truth in the legend, but it is no longer the location of fraternity stunts. Sweet dreams darlings.

So this is me not studying for my exam tonight. An email I got earlier has put me into a rather poopy mood. I had interviewed for an internship and didn't get it. There were seriously a bajillion people...touched up too. The red just insists on peeling and leaving a splotchy place. Which is really even more of a pity because my skin shows the ink so well. I'm guessing that's because I'm 37 kinds of pale. LO

I liked how yesterday's spooky story had a first person feel to it, so for today I went looking for TRUE ghost stories. I found this treasure at castleofspirits.com. The true story of: LOOKING IN...unusual and frightening things. The mirror did belong to the house when I moved here, and the house was old. Maybe when I had broken the mirror I released something evil into the world? Who knows?

Ok, so. I probably left it a little late, but I finally went to the public library today and picked up a copy of the Voter's Pamphlet so I can fill out my ballot, which I'm in the process of doing right...Voter's Pamphlet has of Ralph Nader? Yeah, totally looks like Billy Bob Thornton. I turned the page, did a double-take at the picture, and went, "Wait, what?" before I even looked at the name. LOL! :DDDD
