How did you find a seamstress that...in question behind the cut. The top Full body from the front. Full body from the side...ish? Scandelous! Full body ish also. I'm just trying to be as thorough as possible

I went for my first dress fitting today. I'm having my dress made from scratch and today was to be the muslin fitting, just to get the right measurements and choose the shape of the neckline, the back...to see me in such an amazing dress. Thank goodness for this community where I can indulge my need to show and tell without spoiling the secret for my friends and family. Thanks for looking!

Today I went in to the place I'm hopefully getting my dress made to play with fabric! Having almost set my heart on the periwinkle silk dupioni they'd shown me last time I went in I was a bit disappointed...the question I have to answer: do I want to feel comfortable or do I want to look gorgeous? And just to clarify #1 is not *uncomfortable* it may just require a little more awareness to move around in.

This afternoon, while at my parent's house, I dug out my mom's wedding dress - she wore it at her wedding in 1980, my aunt wore it at her wedding in the late 70s, and my grandma wore it at her wedding...that, this is a priceless dress and I absolutely cannot risk something bad happening to it.. Thanks! In other wedding news, I just got the contract for my venue today, and I'm incredibly excited :
