Here's the fix: in settings, scroll to the bottom section called Browser Settings. Select "Always use HTTPS." Here's the article below, if you're interested in the details. Hat tip to cleolinda ...it by manually typing https://mail.google.com before you log in. This will access the SSL version of Gmail and it will be persistent over your entire session and not only during authentication.
I apologize for not having posted since the surgery. As you may imagine, most of my time and attention has been directed toward staying with Steph while she is in the Cardiothoracic ICU at Cleveland...has cut back on her pain medication. Steph is walking a fine line between lessening the pain and not being able to breathe properly. I'll send this into Cyberblog, and I'm now headed back up to ICU.
Haha, my Lollipop Kolysifup Breather (loooong story on that nickname :D) sent me this really great e-mail and I felt the need to share with everyone I could! You know you're a Floridian if...
