Today started off with the funniest moment ever .... telling it just won't do the moment justice, so I await the pictoral proof. I just warn you, it's pretty damn funny. Then we watched the game ... you...and I had steak. THen we came home. Now we sit here. I've spent way too much time in the basement this weekend due to the whole no battery charger thing. Oh well. I think it's just about bedtime now

I have finally had a couple days where I really made a dent in the pile of work that surrounds me. It had just been growing and growing with no feasible way to do anything about it. But today and yesterday...work out. Oh, and if you were worried about the zombies and other creatures taking over the universe ... it sounds like Mike's down in the basement killing all of them. So you're safe. WHew. :

Еще с пятницы собираюсь сочинить этот пост, но вот все руки не доходили( В яптницу посетила презентация бизнес-щколы Wharton. Не вчеатлилась вообще, а даже скорее расстроилась. Все, что они рассказывали...пробовать сырный и кончено же шоколадный. ММММ. я уже мысленно окунаю яблоки и бананы в шоколадное фондю. А на сегодняшний вечер у меня запланирована встреча с Машей) Но об этом в следующем выпуске
went out to eat tonight even tho i have food here and i don't really have the money to be going out. got the open-faced roast beef on toast with taters and gravy. comfort food. i finally figured out why i do this. it's one way of saying i'm in control of the situation when i'm not. it gives me false confidence. i hate being emotionally aware.
Friday night, Amy and I went to Blue Dahlila Bistro for dinner. We sat on the patio, which is probably the most comfortable, cozy patio in Austin. Lots of candles and greenery and a fountain; soft music...get the shelves attached to the wall and filled; thats a bit much! :) And today, I got my call!!! He called right around 10 and gave me his flight info; he should be here in roughly 24 hours!! Yippie!
Why is it that every time I go to a takeout place, and you get those little packets of salt and pepper, that there are about 5 grains of pepper per packet? You open up the salt and a small mountain pours out, but when you pour the pepper all that you get are a couple of flakes? What's the deal? Are we having a pepper crisis? Is it that much more expensive than salt to package? What gives???
Forgot to post this the other day - but just a warning that Shiona now has a little baby girl (called Beth). Born 2.30am on Thursday morning. I was most impressed she called me from the hospital and later...may be found curled up in front of the coal and log fire tonight. We had the tiles in the bathroom fixed yesterday, but today our boiler seems to have stopped functioning so no hot water or heating
Waaah-tah! What's with the Bruce Lee picture and bad impressions? Well, you don't really need one, as Bruce is teh awesome, but I do have one. Last week several of the kids had to come to our school...up FR to the point that the original author said something to the effect of "It's not my realms anymore." Castlemourn, anyone?
