[ Back on October 19th, the rec room bookcase decides that Shari needs to see episode seven of Band of Brothers . Feeling she has little choice but to give in, she sets the projector up in the storeroom... but soon finds that it's not as private a locale as she'd hoped. What results is nothing less than heart wrenching as the group expands and contracts, each person leaving irrevocably altered.

After the fight, Buck goes to tell Starbuck that baseball is cancelled. She goes on a mission to get him to sit down and is only about half-victorious. While then heading for water , he and Babe run into each other and the subject of Babe hiding things from Buck is discussed. Rated PG.

[ In an astounding display of pre-caffeine foot-in-mouth, Shari accidentally lets it slip over breakfast at Cain's that Gene and Joe are a couple. Reactions run the gamut from anger to indifference. Timed to the morning of October 7, ongoing.]

Buck discovers his replacement for Babe is going to be a pig. They also wind up admitting that each other's company has been welcome and Buck admits to no longer sleeping around. But really, Buck is not eager to forget that he being replaced. By a pig . Rated PG-13.

I've got a finished baseball field, new packs of smokes, and a room that's nearly ready to be moved into. Hell, if I didn't know better, I'd almost say things were starting to swing my way again. I'm...boys. They're moving on (or trying to); finding their own ways and their own girls and jobs. The best leaders go by example and I need something myself, so until I figure it out, this'll have to do

Joe lets Buck know that his clone is getting married and all's well until Buck finds out it's to another man. His clone issues come to a head and he crashes back to the room he shares with Babe very intoxicated. They talk, inasmuch as men do. Rated PG.

Buck wants to take over Babe's bed . Babe's reluctant at first, but does give in, in the end. Timed to 9 August. Rated G as G can be. Babe and Gene meet down by the beach . Babe finally inquires about Julian and Gene gives some pearls of wisdom to make him feel a little better. Timed 28 July. G rating.

Joe comes out to Babe like a total dumbass.  Dated to August 10th.

The last time this had happened, he'd gone so far as to roast some meat for everyone. This time, he's still weary and tired of wondering if today is going to be the day Glitch turned up in his body again...people were hell-bent on wandering around in the grips of this confusion. Maybe if he topped up the drink, he could work on that not-focusing some more. [Gathering post at the Homestead, as per ushe]
