Now this is what I'm talking about. Score Friday! Okay, so it was even a tolerable day at work. The fleet assistance I was supposed to do (aka extra work sprung on me in the middle of my morning) was...do it three years in a row. I've long maintained that multitasking was inefficient, and this morning there was a story on NPR which scientificallyconcluded the same. My preference has always been to take on one task at a time...voice on a cellphone? Maybe my fossilized old brain is stuck in the 20th century, but I'm not up to the task of multitasking. I'll stick with one thing at a time, please, and muddle through that way.
So I'm sort ofbecoming a type-A personality I think. I'm becoming hugely more organized, more eager to get things done, more driven in general...it's weird. I'm used to being vastly lazy and inefficient...type-A, that I *was* type A but I'm only just now realizing/coming into it. Weird I think. What happened to the lazy artist who didn't give as much of a fuck? Strange times. Straaaange times
