El Perro Del Mar March 5, 2007 Live At The Mod Club Toronto, ON  Perhaps one of my most treasured musical finds of 2006, El Perro Del Mar's self-titled record was a record that I immediately...Submarines - Brighter Discontent I haven't really watched Nip/Tuck since the first season but this is hands down the single greatest moment on network tv since... this... or this...  

This is a clip that I took from the amazing El Perro Del Mar show at The Mod Club on Monday. It's of Sarah playing Dog , one of my favourites off her S/T record. I'll post my thoughts on the show, openers the Submarines, and on Toronto sometime tonight (or at least attempt to). She just sooo.... hot . *sigh*  

i've been reading sons & lovers for the past hour. i am anticipating the so called "incest" between the woman and son. it is kind of disturbing at first, when i think about it, but it is actually not...pitches; and nothing of the sort of her translation "el perro del mar" = the dog of the sea. hmm! please listen. give her a try. she's just great. i started tapping my toes i think in the middle of it.

Somehow this video reminds me of my childhood. ♥ El Perro Del Mar is a Swedish solo artist with a sweet, retro sound. Check her out, she's touring! ETA: we_be_twee now has 30 members! :D This is a nice little benchmark for us. With our community growing bit by bit, I encourage all of you to make some contributions of your own as well! So, as many of you are aware, I got satellite radio as an early Christmas gift for myself for my new job, which has an hour-plus commute.
