As gasoline approaches 4 US dollars a gallon in the United States, I find myself most concerned about energy. I am, of course, concerned about every issue. Energy, however, concerns me the most. I would like to have the happy continuation, and I'll settle for the neutral, but I will continue to listen to both candidates on the subject of how our continuation of life avoids an end.

Swap out Natural Gas as a power generation source for Wind, keep using Coal and Oil.  ????

Here is what I would like to see: 1.   A government-sponsored program to provide every locality with a non-profit, 100% renewable (solar, wind, hydro, bio) electricity company, modeled after ...until 2030, when all the drilling finally produces something, and get 12 cents off their $19.99 gallon of gas at that time (not counting inflation), if they still own a gas-burning vehicle, that is.
