Sometimes the oddest thing run through your head from your childhood.  In this case, it's from when I was about seven.  Actually I know why -- husband will be in NY tomorrow not far from a town I lived... running through my head.  As a kid in NY, I had to learn what I remember as the Erie Canal Song .  So, here it is, so you can have it running through your head too.    Evil isn't fun unless shared

I grew up in Adams Basin, NY -- a little hamlet along the Erie/Barge Canal. Actually, the old-timers would say that properly I grew up just outside the basin, since I lived a little bit past the Ogden...the stuff about the Klan.
