"She flies with her own wings" It's going on the inside of my class ring~ Which I'm ordering tomorrow~ And tomorrow is Halloween~ And I'll have double math homework and an essay to write over the weekend...+sigh+ Ah well. Tired at the moment. Didn't get as much done as I wanted...I think I almost get what we've been doing in math for three days now...haha. And I'm still missing that worksheet from...
Love or Lust The modern perception of love perplexes me. It seems that people are confusing love with lust, yet they are two very separate things. Lust, quite simply defined, “. ...can’t begin to compare. Real love is not just a sentiment, but is a condition of pure devotion that can be cultivated. That is love. .
My most recent book, REFLECTIONS ON DOCTORS published September 2008 by Kaplan Publishing was reviewed by The New York Times. An essay from my book, Notes From the Mothership The Naked Invisibles is one of two dozen provocative essays. As REFLECTIONS ON DOCTORS' editor Terry Ratner, RN,MFA says, "The nurses of this anthology represent a spectrum of voices and perspectives, reflecting upon their...
Okay, so against my better judgement, I'm going to attempt NaNoWriMo this year. You probably all realise that this is a Supremely Bad Idea for someone who is as crap as I am as doing her essays on time... Except maybe some Bible jokes. Now that you're completely underwhelmed, with any luck the results of my endeavours - or lack thereof - won't be too much of a disappointment. Kthxbai. Ophelia Xx

In “First Impressions”, Judith Thurman questions what exactly does the world's oldest art have to say about us. Art that was created between thirty-seven thousand and eleven...
THE CITY IS GIVING ROXAS A COMPLEX ABOUT BEING LEFT BEHIND. Not that he's insecure, because it doesn't hurt him when it happens, but he's starting to expect it. And sometimes it shows. I find this hilarious.
Well, I hadn't intended to get all analytical on you again so soon, but the recent, ahem, unpleasantness in the fandom got me thinking. Some of the metatextual stuff that came up was dead interesting.... Or else that I'm too analytical for my own good, and need to get out more. Thanks for sitting through all of that. If you'd like to move to the lounge now, we'll be serving pina coladas
The whole idea of having a play is stupid. My part in the play got changed. Good. No one has to die. The fake babies are gone. I've actually gotten some sleep since they left. Essay was stupid, but I did it anyway.
