...did manage to re-sprain my thumb while coughing and driving today.  At least I was able to stay in my lane despite the hacking and coughing. I only made it through the middle of the second day of faire.  Coughing, lack of sleep because of coughing and nasty humidity did me in.  Next week is the Student Days week.  I get Monday and Friday off.  That's 7 days of faire with 2 days of rest stuck...

Back from Minnesota. Lots of chillin' with the peeps, hanging out getting our nerd on at the Renn Faire. Ambiguous Grammar FTW! Are Eric & I the only ones who wonder whether "Food Employees" are the same as "Feeder Fish"? King of the Topiary! Lush! Here I'm chillin' with Orc in our hotel room. $75/night got us...

We had a great time working at the Great Plains Spring Faire!  As usual, there were many friends present and new folks that are now friends.  I got to meet Donna and Valorie, persons who had previously only been e-mail/online presences.  Now they are warmly included in my roster of folks I want to see again. It is amazing to state that I didn't get sick this time!  Yay!!  The weather was very pleasant...

Well, not completely about sewing, how's that? tomomallie 's coat continues apace, and I should be able to go to bed on time Friday night. That will be nice... *daydreams of a full night's sleep*... And, Joni Minstrel (a.k.a. supergoober ) has a new admirer! But I don't think she's quite sure about him. Look in the background. Bret Blackshear isn't quite sure about the wee kilted lad, either!

They are a drum & bagpipe band out of Texas whom I discovered at the Medieval Faire in OK a few years back. For some reason, bagpipes don't have the same charm played in one's changer or iPod. So I have decided we are going to Oklahoma the first weekend in April and we are going...

So, I have photographic evidence of alison_sky in orange garb in a group of rogues, ruffians, rapscallions and a few other Rrrrrs we care not to mention ....okay, well, in a group of everybody's favorite Fight School guys anyway. :) In other news, I have nothing else to say.

milady1 is ill, so she won't be coming to faire. I'll take this opportunity to work a little longer on my garb for next weekend and go then. My plans for the long weekend are light. Hope everyone has fun.
