Feel free to skip, this is just a littleannouncement regarding my fic. I will be pulling my previously posted chapter 15 of FAA this weekend for revisions. I just don't have time to work on it at the...it all week, so that's something. Yeah, that's really all I have for you. Every time I think I'm gonna post all my thinky thoughts, work or other crap in RL intervenes, and I cannot think at all
Anyone else buy reference materials for their fanfic? I know most of the writers on my flist do heavy research for original fiction featuring original characters. But, how much research do you put into fic?
New Laptop!!!! Also, replacement Kindle has finally been granted to me. God bless the very slow, highly methodical people at Amazon, with all their 10 billion questions about what I was doing with it... and they are FABULOUS. Seriously, even with my fear of the cold, I found myself regretting that I had bought a long skirt, because it will cover the boots. I'm considering splitting the sides.
My father sent me a forward yesterday which included the following line: When ships had sails, they used to use the trade winds to cro s s the ocean. Sometimes when the wind didn't blow the sailors would whistle to m ake the wind come. My brother said they would have been better off eating beans. (William, age 7) I dare someone to write this fic.
I finally calmed down a little after my Saturdayrant and realized I was being a brat, and got over it. Thanks to all for not calling me on it. So, I actually wrote a little this weekend. FAA 15 is...the fickle muse by forcing myself to work on other documents, or if I should just stick with the one that I'm most desparate to finish and put what little time and energy I have into that. We'll see.
Today's project: Laundry. So. Much. Laundry. I've been behind on laundry for, um, months, so I finally got a start on it today since...the house is ours in a week from tomorrow and we'll be moving...with: 1) A fandom 2) An anime/manga character 3) A color 4) A song; then I will tell you why I love you~ Shoot, the icon I chose made me remember I need to work on icon posts...somehow...sometime...
my entry's for the IIR contest!!! this is my first time writing this fandom and to actually post some of my crappy writings in hopes of finally winning that IIR manga! I hope everyone will like it! ... He knew that all his uncertainties were for nothing, in those intense blue eyes shone nothing but love. Love for him and him alone. Because at that moment, Ranmaru fell in love all over again.
I'm just gonna continue to post my opinions about books, and possibly random other things. So I finished 'heartbreaking, etc...', see yesterday, by David Eggars last night, and I was not entirely pleased...too tired by the time I get home. If I remember over the weekend, I want to try getting my documents off of the laptop that's no longer a laptop and into my office computer, so I can work on them.
