Well here we are, growing old slowly in suburbia. It was Fathers Day recently, so Paul got an iron for his birthday. Not a golfing iron, but you know, the sort that flattens clothes. We had it custom...too. The Invitations are still causing havoc and spilled drinks whenever people try to open their fridges we are reliably informed, at least where the invites are still ON the fridge. Happy Ironing

today is fat-horse day, of course. and i ate meat :( i had fush n chups. FAIL! i am a bad vegetarian. it was nice, though, but i felt a bit gross afterward. The Greek salad was delicious - crisp and fresh...hair is these days actually pretty gross - you can see how much it's growing out and fading Fail! I am really not enjoying being unwell.  I feel like it has just consumed me over the last week and become bigger than I am.  Ever since I had my tonsils out when I was 22, I rarely get sick.  I know some...ago that it is fathers day.  I wonder what my Dad is thinking about or feeling today.  The last time I saw my Dad was two days before I left for the UK....that was four years ago this month.

I was going to paint her feet and make some footprints on a card, but after reading a magazine S is going to explore her artistic side and do her first painting. I'm going to buy a little canvas and...paints, take off her pants (not the nappy) and let her thrash her feet around in one colour at at time until we build up 'composition'.
