I really appreciate the warm wishes and condolences from all of you.  I'm feeling less horrible now, but I have to concentrate on finishing the book--which is due Friday and is hard to work on due to all the icky nasty things that happen near the end.  I'll come back up for air when I'm done. Dexter, our dear old ferret, is no more. We went to the vet this morning for his usual shot, but his condition had so badly deteriorated that it was pointless. After break, we did ferrets. We were shown how to correctly handle them (aka how to stop them biting you) and then we went and took them for walks on harnesses. The cold weather seems to have sparked Simon's winter coat or something. He seems exceptionally fluffy the past couple days. (It makes him seem so much fatter. He looks like a waddling porcupine when...to the size of the boys.) My hair. The lighting is crappy in these, but I took a bunch of silly pictures just to show off my hair and because I am in a good mood today!

...Is not being able to play with my fuzzbuts! ;___; Ferrets can catch colds/flus from hoomans... so it's not good to hang out with tem too much... I am trying to watch The Bank Job, and the DVD stopped working. That is annoying. I have to send it back to Netflix and get a new one again, I guess. That is the second time that happened to me. It's always... Luke and Simon are well over 2 pounds, probably close to 3. I can't wait to see next month when Luke goes to the vet how much he weighs. Bailey was my lightest ferret so far, only 1.4 pounds. Aww
