I realized I'm in love with my iPod. Seriously. If I'm not listening to it, I'm thinking about listening to it, and when I'll be able to listen to it again. Or wondering what music I should download to...this point. If you do, I congratulate you. Maybe you'll get a hug when I see you. But you'll have to remind me. Okay, goodnight. I'm done. Enjoy your coffee. Damn, its not even 11. I'm pooped.
Stephen King does a column for 'Entertainment Weekly'. He does his column sort of like I do this blog -- roughly once a month, and, as a reader, you're fairly sure he didn't look at what he wrote and go... dude, then maybe we can talk. Until that time? Maybe you should check out Smashmouth and Oasis and all...they're pretty okay... Meanwhile, I feel the need to listen to Smashmouth for some reason..
Today, while I was browsing through myspace, I discovered that I'm my best friends number three. I know this sounds ridiculous because it's just myspace, but there something more to the 'top 8' then it... my wish for more stuff to talk about came true. Unfortunately, not a lot of it is good stuff. "Don't give out, Don't give up, One of these days you might find someone to love" -Fountains of Wayn
This is my new section where I inform you, the reader, of my recently made mixtapes. And I do not speak of Mix CD's or playlists, I mean authentic cassette tapes. I have given up on mp3's as of now...- Modest Mouse: Did I mention I love these guys? "Mrs. Potter's Library" - Counting Crows: My favorite Crows' song, mainly for the lyrics. "Hallelujah" - Jeff Buckley: Best song ever.
Today, dear friends, is the one year anniversary of one of THE most exciting to ever happen to me. And unless some seriously amazing things ever happen to take place, it will remain in my Top 5 Most...always put a smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach. Anyone who thinks Fountains of Wayne equals nothing more than Stacy's Mom is sadly, sadly mistaken. Oh my God. I met Fountains of Wayne
I love this song. K and i were driving home one night when it came on the Globe and I was trying to figure out what the hell the song was. The video is a riot, and it blends so effortlessly with 80s...Wayne because I hated "Stacy's Mom" so much, but I am starting to understand it in a much more humorous sense. These guys love the 80s, and it's highly probable that Stacy's mom was an 80's hottie
i'm not in the mood great fountains of waynesong fuck how come nobody told me about marty and erica? baby please don't rock me tonight please don't rock me tonight please don't rock me tonight i'm not...and erica that just plain sucks and now we can't go anywhere with all of us well at least It's A Snow Day yep but now i'm in a bad mood a part of me suffers too, adam schlesinger i mean wille
The title doesn't have anything much to do with the post. I just love that song. So, it was my birthday yesterday. Yeah. Another year older. There were bits that were good. And then there were A LOT...because were having Italian with the Acklings. Oh, before I forget the reason I decided to write this blog was because I noticed I share a birthday with Chris Hazelton . I thought that was neat.
