I searched around this weekend for the perfect white cake, stuffed some of Smitten Kitchen's mango curd in the middle, and topped the whole thing with raspberry buttercream roses. I'm in charge of bringing dessert to work in a couple of weeks, and my boss is vegan. I'd like him to be able to eat whatever we make. I'd LIKE to do cupcakes. I've heard (??) most box mix is vegan if...get at a "Regular" grocery store. I should mention that my boss is NOT vegan for health/ingredient reasons, but rather for animal rights reasons. I've been looking all over for a knock off recipe of these store brand cookies "Lofthouse/L'oven Fresh"...cookies online, I think they might be sour cream drop cookies, or similar? Hello everyone! I need some help finding a recipe for a fantastic cut out sugar cookie and icing! The reason: My manager asked me if I would make mickey mouse shaped cookies for her wedding to put into...be frosting the mickey heads black and putting a bow on some and bowties on others and I just want them to taste good! I made blue/red velvet cupcakes for the 4th o' July this weekend :) (Since I was making red and blue, i've underlined what i did differently) 2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour* 1 teaspoon baking powder...red sprinkles that are cinnamon flavored. they are sold right next to the regular sprinkles in the baking aisle of your grocery store. they also sold peppermint but i like cinnamon a lot better :)

indeed. it's heaven. these recipes are not mine, i found them online, but i made my own changes. :) 1/2 cup butter 1 c sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 3/4...rounded in flavor..the flavor of the espresso and rum just barely peak their heads out from around the chocolate. the frosting is sweet and is an excellent combination with the not-so-sweet cakie.
