Anyways, I went to my cousin's funeral on tuesday. I'm not going to say much about it.  When the brought his coffin in I thought I was going to faint. It was jsut too... weird. I didn't cry though... because no one really spoke at his...

...sign on the other side of it. All things considered, there are two likelihoods: 1) Great Old One in the attic, or 2) House was built by Bloody Stupid Johnson. In other news, I'll be going back to Manchester tomorrow, for one or two nights. My Grandmother, Constance Mary Rampling (Granny Molly, as she was always known) passed away recently, aged ninety-five. Her funeral will be this Friday.

In memory of my Uncle Steve - RIP - 1955/2008

...I can not describe... I am really close to those guys and they have really held me together through all of this... His closest friend and a high ranking member of the Club carried my Uncles urn to the funeral...not in a funeral service car like most people...but right there on my Uncles Harley... a last ride... that was so hard to watch...but I know it was absolutely the right way to do it and the best...

Funeral words Part III

Written by David Michael Graham in December 2007 following his diagnosis of a brain tumour, and spoken at his funeral by sister Stephanie (18/10/2008) Raw thoughts - Dec 2007 I can clearly say that my first thoughts as to my last days are that I have no regrets or what-ifs. I am and have been happy with who I am, with nothing to prove to myself or any one else. I have achieved many personal...

Funeral words Part II

These are the words written and spoken by sister Judith at the funeral of David Michael Graham (18/10/2008). Dave, in some respects, was the black sheep of the family. He was the eldest with four younger sisters, and there was a certain amount, over the years, of consideration that he was a bit, well, wild. He was a wannabe tearaway in his teens, didn’t settle down to a standard profession in...

Long Week

So my mom and dad will be out of town for a couple of days. My grandmother's mother passed away today so they are going to Timmins (an 18 hour round trip) for the funeral. We've never met her, but they want to be there for my grandmother, which is sweet. Wish I could go, but there is far too much this week. Chelsea and I are up bailing the water from out basement. Our sub-pump died so now we are...

A Part Of The Main

"Therefore, send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee."           I attended a funeral today, and I felt nothing .           To be sure, this is what I was supposed to feel. The deceased party was someone whom was related to someone who I know through my mother and whom we have not spoken with in almost a year.           However, I feel this way at every single funeral, and death...

got to be a joker, he just do what he pleased

Uhm, so yeah. Went to school, then had to leave for a funeral (well, technically it was a "Celebration of Life" and she's being buried tomorrow, but for all purposes, it was a funeral). Then I had to come back for the last block of the day because I can't make up Graphic Comm at home and I was already behind because I was sick on Monday&Tuesday. It was pretty boring, actually, but now I'm home and...

My words for BB's funeral

Words for the funeral of David Michael Graham (26/12/1958-14/10/2008), as spoken by his sister Stephanie (18 Oct 2008) I don't know what a eulogy is supposed to look like. I didn't really care. I just had a few things to say, difficult--oh how difficult!--though it was. My brother Dave and I shared a problem: we both had trouble hearing voices in noisy environments. Unfortunately, every family...

Back to crazy....

Now this is my idea of a funeral. You've got to watch the casket tossing moments. That's the kind of send off I'd like. Plus I love the music.
