...late night labs twice a week though- not a fan. Not to mention the insurance company trying and most likely successfully screwing my parents out of the money for the beach house in Gilchrist, my Galveston Apartment landlord being an almighty PRICK about us braking our leases because the apartments were UNLIVABLE for a month and now we've been moved 200 miles North for school. He's going to have...
On Houston channel 2 news they had their guy do a 'walking tour' of Galveston to show what happened. They had a shitload of water damage on the Strand to Harborside area. They drove down my old neighborhood and showed a lot of downed trees. They didn't show my block but they went about 2 blocks away. They still don't want anyone on the island, but from the look of it they should at least allow the...

Today, the people of Galveston, TX, who foolishly stayed behind to “brave” a hurricane after being told to evacuated, are being forced from their homes because after the hurricane hit, those that survived have no power, no...

...whining that they were the last to be served by the people they refused to pay for services. We can't escape living in areas that are at risk to natural disaster, but we can use some intelligence. Galveston isn't New Orleans. It's not Houston. It's on a barrier island. Enough is enough. If people are stupid enough to stay on them during a hurricane, there should be no hurry to help them.
