SILENT HILL: HOMECOMING a recommendation I really, really enjoyed this game. I was thrilled to play it, and, with the exception of some brutally difficult pieces sprinkled throughout, I continued to be...of the way through the game, at which point you pretty much stop getting non-combat Quick Time Events and other little details similarly fall off, but it's an amazing game for first-time developers.

Kingdom Hearts, Final Mix. (Not to be confused with FM+, yo.) My hands are throbbing a little, but for anyone else who ever feels like replaying, I have a very solid strategy for you when you reach Maleficent's...the staff and sacrificing the sword, and I swear this seems to have made the game a little harder than I remember it, but it could just be that all those Triangle Reaction Commands have spoiled me. :(

I have, I'll readily admit, always been more of a SEGA girl than a Nintendo girl. For some reason, mascots like Sonic the Hedgehog and NiGHTS just held more appeal to me. I like their sharp angles, their...have a SEGA CD, so I never played it. (The game is, as I mentioned above, based around Amy Rose... and also around the concept of time travel . Come on, how could that be ANY MORE AWESOME.) /babble

So, we've all heard the song, right? And it's awesome. Because it is. Called "Still Alive," the song plays at the end of Portal, just as you're about to get your reward cake for completing the game. (If you had to do it, it's kind of an appropriate voice -- androgynously pitched, vaguely...enough, he just doesn't look fantastical enough. (It doesn't help that "wise owl character" is such a cliche. I didn't even like it Ocarina of Time, and at least there it seemed less out of place.

Done with finals. To-do list now includes: 1.) Clean up apartment; 2.) Find people to move in for us in January; 3.) Sign up for classes (I know I'm way behind, but I'm STILL struggling to figure out...and again, and using Elixers the few times you run out of health or MP. It's still hard.
