So I went to pick up my preorder for Fallout 3 last night (game lives up to the hype thus far) from potentially the best or the worst place to buy games: GameStop . Aside from the utter vehemence I feel for their crappy "take-your-game-back-in-sell-it-for-3 times-what-they-gave-you-and-$5-less-than-new-boxed-retail" program that purely lines their pockets and does nothing for the developer or...
...it went pretty well, a lot better than week 1 and not as big of a drop-off from week 2 as I was probably expecting with no eddie garcia to carry things again. but you can right-click here and judge for yourself, if you so desire. now that the lone bright spot of my week is done, back to four days straight of gamestop. hurray. at least there's no joe and kelly together.....I think so, anyway.
So, GameStop won't give out the pre-order codes for my LOTRO: Mines of Moria until the game comes out. On Nov 18. Because "too many people preorder only to get the in-game items and never pick up the game" or some shit. Serves me right for actually ordering from the bricks and mortar store and not the trusty confines of the internet. Cunts!

I HAS A JOOOOOOOB!! Yupyup! I am officially a Gamestop employee, or at least for the Seasonal team. But it's still a job, and the manager gave it to me on the spot, which was pretty awesome. I'll need to wait a week or two until they start my training, maybe sooner if they could get the hours they told me.
