On October 22, FAO Schwartz will open up their Muppet Whatnot Workshop . Whatnots (called Anything Muppets on Sesame Street ) are the "background extra" Muppets. They're blank, highly customizable Muppets...For about $100, you'll be able to create your own, actual, factual, working Muppet. This makes me so unbeliavbly happy that I wish I could get everyone I know their own Muppet. Yes, I'm strange. --JK

Dar Williams, one of my favorite musical artists is going to be performing at the Boulder Theater on the 14th. To prepare, I bought her new album, Promised Land. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy it...geek, but even if you're not, surely one must be impressed with an artist that intelligent. I can hardly wait to see her in concert. So excited!
