Looking forward to two releases that hit the shelves tomorrow. True Detective is the latest mystery by Jonathan Kellerman. I've enjoyed his work since catching a TV movie version of his first book,...Edgar Award-winning When The Bough Breaks. Deadly Desire by Keri Arthur / kezarthur , which is the latest Riley Jensen, Guardian novel. I've really enjoyed this series. Good plotting. :-

... The Shadow. Working through issue #3 of The Shadow reprints and I'm finally figuring out their attraction. It helps that I found issue 2 better than the books Nostalgia Ventures selected for the first...paragraphs as if I was an announcer, filling in blanks between dialogue and sound effects and the story pace took off. Definitely a lesson learned today that I can put away in my personal toolbox. :-
Another book coming out today is Deader Still by Anton Strout/ antonstrout . This is the second entry in his Simon Canderous urban fantasyseries. So far, it's a good day for genrefiction. :-)
