I started this gown last Halloween, and am finishing it, finally, this Halloween.  Primarily this is because I actually have places to go, to wear a costume.  The trim and buttons are pinned on, and...black hat.  Oh well! The trim and buttons are just pinned on at this point, and will be sewn on when I finish the armscye.  The front overlap will have snaps to keep it from gaping.
