It was aumni day today, the only things i liked were dress down and the band rocked. Green and Gold FTW. Moving on....I have two turkey dinners this weekend. It is at least better then the three I had last year. The dinners wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the leftovers. Hopefully I will have to work Monday, not only do I get paid double I don't have to go to another dinner ^_^ I will miss out...
This was a crazy one! I loved making it, and I'm glad it ended up so well. I traded etsy user OrigamiArtist for a bunch of itty bitty books. It was well enough received that I've started offering custom flag necklaces on my etsy.
I think I like this necklace more than anyone else does. *laughs* It's a super gradated loop, that all together looks like flower petals or a beautiful tangle. It's heavy... man, this necklace is a statement necklace. The name is obvious, but I can't tell you what I wanted to create other than a garden idea. Flowers and green growing things, and butterflies.
It's a simple enough piece, coming out of a need to use that pendant. Ok, sure, it was probably meant to be an earring, but I wanted it to be a pendant. Neener. I tried to stick with colours that weren't brash or obnoxious... something that was in the darker set, something you could wear any day. The design is simple as well, echoing the smooth curves of the pendant.
