This morning I was listening to Metallica's "... and justice for all" and I have this really vivid memory of sitting in a classroom end of my seventh grade year (I think it was seventh grade) and listening...and how intricate it was. He's excited about the song and how it relates to other songs that he knows. It's neat to watch and be part of. I wonder which will be the stronger memory in 15 years

Sitting on the French TGV, flying across the French countryside at 350 km/h, it's difficult not to use the experience as a metaphor for life. It's been a while since I redecorated.
