Every year, like it or not, my wife attends the American Library Association annual convention . The site varies — Anaheim this year, Washington the year before, New Orleans before that. I pick up a pass... By far, this is my best haul — so good I barely managed to get it home. After last year, I was debating whether it was worth spending $25 for the Exhibits pass. Now I’m looking forward to next year

I'm back from my incredibly awesome trip to New York City! And I have lots, and lots of news. First, the news I've been itching to tell you guys for two months. I steal my children's ARCs.  Sometimes, when they're in bed at night with their new books clutched in their hands, I pry their fingers loose and sneak the books downstairs to read. J and E are members...It didn't disappoint, and it's going to be a terrific title for kids making that leap from elementary school to middle school.  They'll appreciate the warmth and honesty as well as its creative format

So I'm a little emotional. Tears are streaming down my face. I can't believe I've already finished this amazing little novel - 'Life on the refrigerator door' by Alice Kuipers.  It is such a fabulous...almost every woman can relate to in some way. ive definitely grown into my new home. its quite nice. only major crazy thing that has happened is a 650 dollar power bill. im assuming the a/c compressor was busted or our energy meter is trashed. they're...page up to the top left corner of my art desk as reference for the next page. and on a side note, here is a sketch of two hp characters i did while waiting in line for hp... im watching you...
